About
A brief background of myself. I have been in the IT industry around 18 years, I studied straight out of secondary learning an "Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering. I have always had a keen interest to learn and develop new skills. In the last 10 years I have been in the data centre space mostly. So running servers and maintaining servers is second nature to me. We currently have 1 Block Producing Relay and 5 Relay Nodes, these are placed into data centre environments. (UPS Power backed up, Cooling, High Speed Fibre Connections)
We have a mixtures of the following types of hardware to run the nodes: - 2x 6-core 12thread processors, 16gb ram, 256GB SSD - 4x 4-core 8thread processors, 8gb ram, 256GB SSD
Our servers are placed in the following locations: - Melbourne, Australia - Lappeenranta, Finland - Chicago IL, United States
